Men’s Designer

For the autumn 2008 and 2009 I designed the street part in the FIREFLY COLLECTION FOR INTERSPORT Sweden. The street part included OUTERWEAR, KNITTED GARMENTS AND JERSEY WITH A LOT OF ALLOVER PRINTS. The concept included both adult and junior, women and men.

For the collection SS2004, AW2005 and SS05 I worked on a freelance basis with the Swedish brand MELKA OF SWEDEN. My assignment was to design OUTERWEAR FOR MEN.

Women’s Designer

A design assignment for a parental leave for NEWHOUSE DESIGN. A CONCEPT COLLECTION, CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY. I was the designer for the collections; spring, summer and autumn 2017.

Designer at freelance basis for the COTONEL collections (DAMELLA) from Spring 2010 to Autumn 2016. The collection includes both WOVEN AND JERSEY PRODUCTS and the assignment was to “lift up” the collection. A work which was very well appreciated both of old and new clients who sells Cotonel in their stores.

Design of EXCLUSIVE COATS AND DRESSES for my OWN BRAND RUTH WISE PHILOSOPHY, for the season AW2008 and SS2009. RWP clothes has been seen in Swedish fashion magazine and in Swedish television on channel 4.

An assignment to design SHIRTS AND BLOUSES for the Swedish brand OSCAR OF SWEDEN for the autumn 2007 and the spring 2008.

For the spring and autumn 2004 my assignment was to design the NORTHBROOK COLLECTION FOR INTERSPORT SWEDEN. After two seasons for Sweden I started to design the brand NORTHBROOK FOR INTERSPORT INTERNATIONAL FOR SWITZERLAND. A CASUAL COLLECTION INCLUDING BOTH JERSEY, KNITTES, WOVEN GARMENT AND OUTERWEAR. The collection was sold in 26 countries. A very exciting time with a lot of travelling and many new faces. Northbrook is a concept collection which also contains outerwear. The collection included both men and women.

As an employee at LINDEX during 2000 I designed the brand CONNECT, A CONCEPT COLLECTION including knit, jersey and woven items. During the same time I also designed all the OUTERWEAR FOR LINDEX.

ActiveWear

My first employment was as a designer for the Swedish company SPORTJOHAN AB. Among other projects I made the design for the 1992 SWEDISH OLYMPIC TEAM’S GARMENTS. I also worked with pattern-making.

In January 1994 I started as an employed designer at CRAFT. My first assignment was to design the spring collection 1995, including RAINWEAR AND TRACKING-GEAR.

During the period of 1994-1996 I was employed at Craft and designed SKIWEAR, SNOWBOARDWEAR, RAINWEAR, SAILING CLOTHES and LIFE VESTS. Design for both JR boy and girl, women and men.

I continued my co-operation with Craft after1996 as a freelance designer. Working with the design for skiwear and rainwear for JR boy and girl.

I worked as a freelance designer for INTERSPORT’S FITNESS BRAND ETIREL 2003-2008. The concept included fitness garments for both woman and junior girl. AEROBIC was the main line, but during those years I also designed YOGA, WELLNESS AND DANCE GARMENTS for Etirel. 2008 was the first collection including a line specially designed for men.

For the season AW2009 I designed SKIWEAR FOR INTERSPORT’S BRAND MACKINLEY, both for women and men.

During 2009 I started to freelance for CRAFT AND NEW WAVE SPORT AB again. 2009 I designed RAINWEAR FOR THE GOLFBRAND CUTTER & BUCK AND WORKED WITH CRAFT PROMOTION. Until the autumn of 2011 I worked with Craft’s special collections for international/national teams and clubs.

From the collection AW12/13 to AW15/16 I worked on freelance basis for Hellenic AB as a designer for the sport brand WAVE. The brand is at a price-worth level and sells in big chain stores. The collection includes SKIWEAR/RAINWEAR FOR MINOR, JR BOY & GIRL AND WOMEN & MEN. The assignment also included artwork for print.

OuterWear

I think I have designed outerwear for almost all seasons since I started to work as a designer.

I LOVE TO WORK WITH OUTERWEAR because it’s so many levels, both visually and functionally. The designs have to last for more than one season and be your protection against weather and wind in different circumstances.

Some seasons it has been a full collection of outerwear and other seasons the outerwear has been a part of the collection.

IT STARTED WITH CRAFT 1994, WITH RAINWEAR, SNOWBOARDGEAR AND SKIWEAR for both JR, women and men.

At INTERSPORT I designed both CASUAL STREET OUTERWEAR FOR FIREFLY AND FUNCTIONAL SKIWEAR FOR MACKINLEY. In the NORTHBROOK collection outerwear was a part of the collection.

For MELKA I designed outerwear for men.

For LINDEX I designed all the outerwear during my employment at 2000.

For my own brand, RUTH WISE PHILOSOPHY, I designed EXCLUSIVE COATS FOR WOMEN.

For the WAVE collection I designed SKI- AND RAINWEAR for both minor, JR and women and men.

In my assignment for NEWHOUSE DESIGN I designed OUTERWEAR and COATS as part of the collection.

Children’s Wear

1996-1999 I worked as a freelance designer for CRAFT with the design for SKIWEAR AND RAINWEAR FOR JR BOY AND GIRL.

During the period of 1994-1996 I was employed at Craft and designed SKIWEAR, SNOWBOARDWEAR, RAINWEAR, SAILING CLOTHES and LIFE VESTS. Design for both JR boy and girl, women and men.
